Mike Attwood:
The Home - A Key Weapon In The Lord's Work
The New Testament Church had a secret weapon, the power of a godly home. Homes were used for hospitality, evangelism, prayer meetings, the meetings of the Church, correction error, and of course, producing future servants of the Lord. This seminar examines setting up a home for the glory of God and the service of Christ.
Core Principles For A Pioneering Team To Be Agreed Upon
Realizing the enemy loves to divide and conquer, what are some of the core principles to be agreed upon before embarking on a new church plant with a team of saints. Issues like Calvinism, divorce and remarriage, charismatic issues, role of women, and many other essential points should be thought through and prayed through together. We are not ignorant of his devices.
Warren Henderson:
The Dynamics Of A New Assembly
This seminar explores the scriptural and practical dynamics of starting a new assembly and addresses some of the early growing pains of a maturing body of believers. How can an assembly become a good spiritual nursery to ensure the proper care of new converts? What dynamics are necessary to enjoy a vibrant body life that all will enjoy and long to be a part of?
The Purpose And Pattern Of The Church
From the New Testament, we now understand that many Old Testament practices, fixtures, and people were object lessons and patterns of yet unrevealed truth. Today, the Church is also an object lesson for the lost and for principalities and power to learn from. What are God's purposes and pattern for the Church? What truth does God desire to convey to the world through the form and order of the Church? A local church cannot be a lampstand for the Lord unless it is illuminated with His glory.
Jabe Nicholson:
How Do I Fit In?
The correlation between spiritual gifts and pioneer evangelism.
Let's Do It!
The New Testament as a handbook for pioneering today.
Larry Sax:
Planning To Evangelize A City And The Associated Follow-Up Work
(This session will emphasize the application of Biblical principles, not the discussion of them.)
How do our activities relate to city ordinances/laws? Thinking through the unique opportunities in your community. Developing a plan or strategy to intentionally evangelize a city. Being prepared to do the follow-up work. Where do I start? What time commitments are needed? What subject matters are important to address in Bible studies? Balancing souls and personal life.
The Heart Of A Pioneer, What Can We Learn From Paul's Examples?
In this session we will discuss applying Paul's example to a pioneering situation. What is unique about a pioneering situation versus an established assembly? What is the consummation of pioneering? What relationship do we see in the Bible between those doing the pioneering and the local assembly?
Mona Schonberg:
Reaching The Incarcerated For Christ
Those who are imprisoned present a unique opportunity for believers to communicate Christ and the Scriptures to them. This session will cover the following: how to become a volunteer, the women we are reaching, possible Bible study ideas, and our own heart preparation.
